Corrected from the Observations communicated to the Royal Societys of London and Paris, large double-hemisphere world map, 1st state with insular California, illustrating trade winds and tides, bordered by extensive scientific text panels on these subjects according to Sir Isaac Newton and Dr Edmund Halley, decorative dedication cartouche supported by allegorical figures of the continents, engraved map with original hand-colouring, on three sheets, joined, 610 x 1050mm., remargined at the sides, just outside the engraved border line, some surface wear on central vertical fold and in the right hemisphere, even browning, small oil stains in the lower text and a small hole on the lower platemark, a few scattered, very small, wormholes, joins and folds reinforced on verso, Senex, 1725.
