BIOGRAPHY:
Mara Wolff (20th c., America). Wolff was an active artist on the east coast of Florida in the middle of the 20th century who was known for her figurative and abstract expressionist works. She resided in Palm Beach County and Attended Norton Gallery School of Art (now the Norton Museum of Art), Palm Beach. She was a member of the Artist Guild of the Palm Beach Art League and in 1961 was elected as president of the organization. She also received an Artist Guild award from the same group. Wolff exhibited with Joan Brams in 1964 ‘Paintings by Prizewinners’ at the Contemporary Artists of Palm Beach Inc., 245 Worth Ave and in 1967 at the Palm Beach Jr. College.
