Description
Chinese, 20th century. A very finely painted eggshell porcelain vase of tapering form with short incurvate neck and flaring mouth, the front hand painted with two small birds on the ground before a boulder surrounded by flowering branches, inscribed upper right with six lines of calligraphy and a red seal mark. Underside with red overglaze seal mark. Approximate height 9". Provenance: From the Estate of Anne Eng, owner of Trader Eng's / House of Eng, Atlanta, GA.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Wear to base commensurate with shelf contact. Some scattered grime to surface. Piece does not fluoresce under black light examination.
