A GROUP OF THREE RUSSIAN ICONS. Comprising an icon of the Guardian Angel with the Apostle St. Peter and the Warrior St. Nikita beneath an image of Christ, circa 1800, probably Palekh School. 14.25 inches x 12 inches (36.5 x 30 cm). Together with an icon of the Sign Mother of God, executed on an old wood panel, but repainted in the second half of the 20th century. 11.5 inches x 9.5 inches (29 x 24 cm). And an icon of Saints Ulita and Kirik with life scenes, 19th century with later restorations. At center, Saints Ulita and Kirik beneath an image of Christ and the borders painted with scenes of their Martyrdom. 18 inches x 15.4 inches (45.5 x 39 cm).
