Jazz - Group Of Twenty-Two Signed Black And White Photographs Of Jazz Trumpeters (circa late 1940s-early 1950s). All vintage prints, seven with photography studio stamp to lower right corner "Character Artists, Cleveland, Ohio". The majority are personalized to "Nat" and are either signed in blue or black fountain pen, or ballpoint pen. Subjects include Roy Eldridge (x3), Jimmy McPartland (x3), Wingy Manone, Charlie Teagarden (x2), Wild Bill Davis, Bobby Hackett (x2), Luis Prima, Lee Collins, Phil Napoleon, Doc Evans (also signed by Darnell Howard), Jonah Jones (x2), Henry Levine (x3). One other unsigned photo of Jimmy McPartland is also included. All measure 8" x 10" or 10" x 8". Generally in Very Good to Excellent condition, all with remnants of yellow tape to the left edge from when they were previously mounted in an album, the lesser examples with creases and minor loss.
