Description
Jazz - Group of Seventeen Signed Black and White Photographs Of Trombone Players (circa late 1940s-early 1950s). all vintage prints, seven stamped "Character Arts, Cleveland, Ohio" to lower right corner. Images of musicians on stage or backstage at venues in Cleveland, Chicago or New York. The majority are signed in blue ink and personalized to "Nat". Subjects include Miff Mole (X3), Jay Higgins, Ralph Hutchinson (X3), Peewee Hunt and Keg Johnson. Also included are four other unsigned photos. All 8" x 10" or 10" x 8". Five in Good to Very Good condition, with loss, fading and pinholes. The remainder are in Fine to Excellent condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
