A very scarce Berselli system repeating flintlock gun, dating: circa 1700, provenance: Germany, dating: circa 1700, provenance: Germany, Very long (rare for this type of a gun), octagonal, rifled, 11.5 mm cal. barrel, engraved with floral motifs at the edges, brass front sight; lock with a round lock-plate, engraved with flowers, brass pin provided with a lever on the left side, that in just one movement (abt. 250 degrees) arms the cock, prime the ..., lowers the batterie and introduces the shot and powder in the powder chamber; tang with a broad sight. Wooden, full stock in two parts with butt worked in two parts. Iron mounts decorated en suite, openable butt-plate, with tanks for powder and shots. Horn-tipped, wooden ramrod., length 160 cm.
