CD-1 COVERED PEACOCK EYE PRESSED SALT, colorless, base with serrated-scallop-and-point rim, and two ropes inside table ring, cover with over-all stippling underneath, lacking underplate. Extremely rare. Possibly Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1830-1845. 2 1/4" HOA, 3" D rim.
Base rim with loss of one point and some light top-edge flaking/mold roughness, foot with moderate chipping, cover is proof.
