Description
Pre-Columbian, Peru, Chancay culture, ca. 1000 to 1470 CE. A Peruvian hairless dog of a rare form! Depicted with fine detail showing their characteristic bat-like ears, wrinkled skin, and stubby tails, this is a charming example. Black-on-white decoration gives colors to the face and rim. A large, round spout rises from the center of the back and the vessel stands on short legs. Size: 10.35" L x 4.85" W x 6" H (26.3 cm x 12.3 cm x 15.2 cm)
