The front deflector dish model section made for use on the Enterprise model featured in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This rare item was created by the production but is unknown if it was screen used or a backup piece. Made of fiberglass and resin this piece would have sat on the front on the secondary hull, with three \"arm\" sections that would connect it to the rest of the model. The model piece has been painted by the production in the same colors with Aztec detailing as the rest of the starship, and features a cast resin clear \"dish\" section that is tinted blue. This item remains in excellent, production made condition, measures 5\" x 8\" x 7\" and comes from the estate of VFX supervisor Gary Hutzel.
