The Oz characters grace the first page of the supplement, boldly headed "Here They Come! The Scarecrow and Tin Woodman, Jack Pumpkinhead, the Woggle Bug, the Animated Sawhorse, and the Gump..." On the fourth page the description continues, with seven drawings of the various characters and scenes flanking descriptions of Oz and various plot lines. A very rare excursion into the depths of L. Frank Baum‘s imagination, as revealed in a West Coast newspaper alongside articles about English royalty touring Europe, lurid American murder mysteries, formulas for the secret of life, and the proper care of eyebrows.
