Rare Lehnware Blue Ground Covered Saffron Cup. Joseph Long Lehn (1798-1892), Clay Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Turned softwood wood with spade finial on lid, round footed pedestal base. Polychrome painted with robin egg blue ground and strawberry motif on lid, with undulating pussy willow on rim, pomegranate and foliate on body with red, green and dark blue banding on pedestal to footed base . 4-3/8" high. Condition: Very good with minor wear.
