The bronze cast censer stands on four tapering foot extending from bulbous base, supports trapezoid body with mythical turtle swimming in raging ocean wave, against scrolling patterns, the top lid mounted with a lion knob, standing on top of a ball, two vertical key-fret patterned handles on the side, bottom cast with nine character mark indicating Japan Bunsei Era, cast by Seimin.
