AN AMERICAN CLASSICAL STYLE CARVED MAHOGANY SOFA, PROBABLY NEW YORK, CIRCA 1825, the scroll arms with carved crotch mahogany veneered with cornucopia terminating in rosettes, the top rail with carved acanthus flourish terminating in rosettes, raised on four hairy paw carved legs with carved acanthus flourish, upholstered in pale blue and gold stripe on a cream ground. Height: 32 5/8" Width: 90 3/4" Depth: 25 1/4"
