KENTUCKY AND OHIO COIN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF NINE, comprising six 6" forward-tipped fiddle back tea spoons and a 6 1/4" forward-tipped fiddle back tea spoon marked for E. & D. Kinsey, Cincinnati, OH (1874-1878), a 5 1/4" coffin back tea spoon marked for Samuel Ayres, Lexington, KY (c. 1790 to 1823), and a 6 7/8" backward-tipped fiddle back ladle or serving spoon with round bowl, marked for George W. Stewart, Lexington, KY (1843-1852); most with monograms. Together with a coin silver 5 3/4" backward-tipped fiddle back tea spoon with partial mark ending in "B. MARSH", maker unverified. Ten pieces total. Total silver weight: 5.365 ozt. 19th century.
Very good condition overall, most with minor denting/compression to bowls, some with minor bending to handles.
