Gilt bronze figure of the seated monk Tsongkhapa (1357-1419) in padmasana position on a double pearl-stringed lotus base
The hands performing the wheel-turning gesture (dharmacakramudra), dressed in a monk's garment, the shoulders framed with towering lotus blossoms, the head covered with the Gelug School hat
With meditative facial expression, downcast eyes and an indicated smile
Height: c. 13.5 cm

Condition:
The figure is in good condition with slight signs of age and use. Partly small scratch marks as well as notches and the base plate is missing.
