DESCRIPTION: A set of three Russian lacquered papier mache boxes. The first features a rendering of a soldier on a rearing horse backed by a naval battle as well as a backdrop of St. Petersburg. The second features an Alice in Wonderland scene with the characters seated at a tea party backed by characters and scenes from the fairy tale. The third features a naval boats backed by dome topped structures. All boxes are signed by the artist and finished with gilded accents.
