Large, well-engraved map of North and South America with much of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Warren Heckrotte comments, "Shows 'Region de l'Or' in California and a few towns. State boundaries not shown; Upper California extends to Rockies.The map was first published (or least earlier published) in 1827. Some revisions have been introduced consistent with 1851, but in other aspects it is out of date. This map is not listed in Wheat's Maps of the Gold Region."
