Description

Lot of 3 Books Hudson Valley Region Map, Illustrations. The books include: "Health and Pleasure: on 'America's Greatest Railroad'" published by New York Central & Hudson River Railroad Company, 1893 and two versions of "The Hudson by Daylight"; one by Wallace Bruce, published by Bryant Literary Union, copyright 1894, and one by William F. Link (front cover depicted next to book in first image), published by William F. Link, copyright 1878. These travel books describe the history of the Hudson area and its landmarks and contain many maps. Would be a great historical reference for anyone living in the Hudson Valley region.

Dimensions for the smallest book are 6.25 in h x 5 in w x .25 in d and the dimensions for the largest book are 9.5 in h x 6.25 in w x 1 in d. Condition is fair/good. Has some browning and discoloration throughout. Long fold out map has been ripped at the end, pieces are detached from map. The front cover of the smaller "The Hudson by Daylight" by William F. Link, is detached but present while the back cover is missing. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
