"New York City During a Snow Storm". Colin Campbell Cooper (American, 1856 to 1937). Signed "C.C. Cooper" at lower right. Terrifically painted winter NYC street scene during a beginning snow storm, executed probably circa 1920s. An American impressionist, C.C. Cooper was inspired by Childe Hassam.This is a major work by Cooper, whose technique was bold, exuberant brush stroking, particular in his street scenes of NY or Philadelphia. Measures approx 16" tall x 12' wide + 2 1/2" frame. Will not ship can refer local shippers.
