Description
China, Qing (Ching) Dynasty, ca. 1644 to 1912 CE. A beautiful jade pendant, hand-carved from a jade stone of rich olive green hues, in the form of a celt with a finely incised register that features a pair of stylized bird forms facing one another on each side. Perforated at upper end for suspension. Size: 1.875" W x 2.875" H (4.8 cm x 7.3 cm)
Provenance: Ex-Private LA County collection formed over the period between 1980 and 2000; Ex-Peter Klika collection.
