Description

KOREA, CIRCA 1990s A Washburn B-19 five string banjo, serial No. 90100054, made in Korea. The banjo features a wooden rim with metal tone ring and detachable flame maple resonator with sunburst finish. A removable engraved metal arm rest is affixed to the rim. The base of the neck and the headstocks reverse are carved in relief to resemble decorative foliate forms. The rosewood fretboard is inlaid with varying mother of pearl designs matching the headstock inlays and makers mark. The banjo is held in a lined hard shell case.

Dimensions: Instrument size 38" by 14" by 4"; Case size 42" by 16" by 6"
