Framed Original Watercolor / Gouache A Hampshire Farmyard by SIdney Paul Goodwin (British, 1867-1844). Framed and matted, no glass. Measures in frame 24x17x1". Weight is 3 pds. PROVENANCE: The Estate of a Charleston SC Art Dealer / Gallery Owner. Sidney Paul Goodwin was the son of the artist William Sidney Goodwin (1833-1915) and the nephew of the famous Albert Goodwin (1845-1932). He and his father were living in Southampton in 1911, but in 1917 he had an address in Dublin and exhibited 15 paintings at the Royal Hibernian Academy. He is listed in The Dictionary of British Artists (Collectors' Club, The Dictionary of Victorian Painters by Christopher Wood and The Dictionary of British Artists by Grant Waters.
