Description
HALF-POST BLOWN AND DECORATED "STIEGEL-TYPE" FLASK, light smoky green, elongated ovoid form with flared mouth and flattened back, polychrome-enamel decoration including cross, goblet, crown of thorns, hammer, tongs, knife, money bag, and rooster on pedestal, inscription on reverse ends with 1738, rough pontil mark. Probably 18th century. 7 7/8" H, 3 3/4" W.
Undamaged, some light interior residue.
