This wool blanket from the French cruise liner company Compagnie GÃ©nÃ©rale Transatlantique is a very cool piece of luxury travel history. This French cruise line was foundered in 1861. It was a major part of French cruise ship industry, having many successful ventures, such as providing postal service and luxury voyages. The company generally was not known for the largest or fastest ships, but for the most luxuriously appointed ships. The blanket features a bright plaid design with red, greens, yellows and several other colors. This wool blanket is in good condition for its age. It measures 62" L x 55 3/4" W
