Description

French made 19th century Spelter case and Marble base mantel clock. The Spelter case designed in the figural form of a young maiden laying in supine position on a rockwork base. Buttressed with a tall column of bundled wheat stalks and a hiding wolf, with florals emanating at the top. Adorned with a figure of a Dove applied at the crown. Mounted atop an oval shaped rouge Marble base elevated on four tapered feet. Artist inscribed and stamped with French foundry mark reading "Fabrication Francaise/Made in Paris, France". Measures approx. 14-1/2"H x 11-1/4"L x 7"W. Will not ship, we can refer local shippers.
