EUROPE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY
A European bronze grouping of female lovers. The work depicts two casually dressed women standing on a lion skin rug implying an interior scene. The woman with bonnet is shown casually undressing her partner. The sculpture was finely cast with intricate detail. The work is signed "C. Aaron" on the hind leg of the lion and sits on a green marble base.
Provenance: Purchased from Bronzâ€™Art, New York, November 9th, 1985.
Dimensions: Overall 11" tall, base measures 6" by 5 3/4" by 1 1/4"
