Description
Comprising: A) Continental percussion officer's pistol. Smoothbore octagonal Damascus barrel with patent breech. Rounded percussion lockplate is unmarked. Plain steel furniture with typical French triggerguard bow with urn finial and semi-stirrup buttcap. Plain walnut stock and wooden ramrod. Silver inlaid wire in scroll patterns around barrel tang. Fair condition, all steel components heavily cleaned and with spots of varnish. Stock is about one inch shorter than barrel at muzzle, scattered scratches, age cracks, and marks from use. B) Two-stage smoothbore barrel, flat lockplate with rounded tail, crude stel mounts, replaced steel ramrod. Walnut stock with checkered spine. Poor condition, replaced crude hammer, dark patina on all steel components with some scattered pitting, stock cracked around lock and sideplate replaced, as cutout is larger than inlay. C) Brass powder flask with charge measure on spout. Top missing one retaining pin. Some minor dents.
