This example has the fluted barrel with nipple shield, bar hammer and dated 1845 with two piece walnut bag handles. Barrel has sharp legend. Retains approximately 80% original blue. Engraved frame has turned patina. Excellent grips. Indexes perfectly. All original nipples. Barrel does have some age freckling within the finish. This is considered a Worcester production. It is a double action only. A nearly identical pistol is found on page 59 of Flayderman's 9th edition.
