Manufactured in Rask Molle, Denmark since 1894. Previously in Otterup 1889-94. The Model 54J sporting rifle was manufactured from 1954 - 1957. It was re-barreled, probably by Weatherby sometime in the late 1950's. Weatherby style stock with the contrasting rosewood tip and grip cap with white diamond, checkered walnut with rakish Weatherby type rollover cheekpiece, Monte Carlo stock with Pachmayr recoil pad. Equipped with ramp front sight, fully leaf rear sight and rear bridge Williams peep sight. Metal retains approximately 98% of the finish, probably applied at time of Weatherby conversion. Stock is excellent with usual hunting dings and minor finish loss. Fine bore and action. High quality, large caliber Weatherby conversion.
