April 27, 1875-Dated, Resolution in Honor of a Retired State Militia Colonel, Newport, (RI), Choice Extremely Fine.
Hand-scripted, large resolution in honor of Colonel James Hogan of the Newport Light Infantry Company, 21.5” x 17.5” Resolution, framed to 28” x 24” and within its original Period frame. A beautiful, light-brown-toned resolution with fabulous scripting and a drawing of military in the top center. Signed at bottom by Thomas Chambers, clerk. Minor staining to resolution, and moderate wear to print, not detracting from the beauty of this piece.
