An early Victorian magnifying glass, circa 1840. The oval-shape faceted lense, with scroll engraved surround and handle. Length 7.3cms.

Condition

Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Some significant wear and discolouration visible to the frame and handle in areas.

Some small chips visible to the faceted edge of the lense, possible replacement lense and slightly raised section to frame.

Terminal hoop is slightly bent off round
