The terrestrial library / boardroom globe within calibrated full meridian, and having metal polar hour discs, within a stand in the Georgian taste, the horizon band with no zodiac/calendar as issued, the four slightly tapered legs joined by upraised shaped stretchers united by turned central standard supporting the meridian. Oceans colored green, geographical entities in a variety of muted colors, with detailed cartography. Mountain ranges shaded and peaks indicated by triangles. Squares and circles of various sizes and shades indicate cities by population. Lines of various shades and hatching show international boundaries, state boundaries, steamship lines, railroads, and canals.
