Description
This 6 inches globe was sold by the American maker WEBER COSTELLO of Chicago ( a school supplies company) .The globe gores were printed in England by the Johnston company which had an distribution agreement with the US .I place the production early 1900 , St Petersburg present ,no Yugoslavia created yet , "Russia" and "Austro-Hungarian Empire" disappeared in 1918 , Belgian Congo .After I WW most of the empires and kingdoms disappeared creating a new world which is still trying to come to term with those changes .The base is cast iron in the late 19th style.
