Fine Chinese sang-de-boeuf saucer dish, rounded sides rising from tapered foot, masterfully applied with a lustrous Kangxi-Style red glaze (which became very rare after mid-Qianlong Period) thinning at top rim to white and pooling to a deeper tone at foot, seal mark in underglaze blue, Qianlong mark and of the period, 8" dia. Provenance: The Travis Brock Collection of Monochrome Ceramics, Bethesda, Maryland, acquired in Derbyshire, England, 1972.
