Item Details

Description

Mack, Aronheimer & Co. (American (Chicago), founded 1847), "Old Kentucky Bourbon", lithograph in colors on paper. A late 19th century printed poster advertising old Kentucky bourbon, having central figural cartouche demonstrating westward expansion, surrounded by various bourbon barrels. Framed approximately 31" x 24.25". Sight approximately 24" x 18".

Condition

Work is not laid down. Work is hanged at bottom with single strip of adhesive (to mat). Extreme areas of discoloration to verso; commensurate with moisture exposure; less predominant to recto. Scattered tears and losses (all untreated); largely contained to lower quadrants.
