Group of Four French Porcelain Oil Lamps, 19th c., consisting of an enameled green example with etched globe and chimney, electrified; a cobalt example with gilt decoration, with original chimney, not electrified; and a pair of brass mounted gilt decorated examples by LB, on brass mounted bases, with milk glass globes, electrified, LB- H.- 23 1/4 in., Dia.- 5 3/4 in. (4 Pcs.)
Condition
Condition consistent with age. One of the pair of brass mounted gilt lamps is separated from its base and the base is dented at the socle and the globe has a piece missing at the top. The other lamp of the pair's globe has been repaired. The enameled green lamp has wear to the paint. The cobalt lamp has wear and fading to the gilt. A unique group.
