A PAIR OF OLD PARIS STYLE PARCEL GILT PAINTED AND GILT BRASS MOUNTED PORCELAIN OIL LAMPS, LATE 19TH CENTURY, the translucent globes centering clear chimneys, over reticulated scrolling grape leaf and swirled necks, above tapered vases with rocaille decorated bodies centering ovoid vignettes with scenes of youthful lovers embracing in a garden opposed by colorful flower bouquets, flanked by gilt painted leafy handles, all on tapered socles mounted on flower bloom decorated pierced scrolling rocaille relief bases. Height: 29 1/2" Diameter: 9"

At least one globe and chimney not original. Some gilt rubbing and wear to the paint throughout. The swirled necks appear with some cracks, but overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
