Condition consistent with age. Moderate wear to the back of the frame and around the front edges of the canvas. Several areas of slight pouching near the upper left corner and top. Craquelure and flaking paint below the sheep. Possible inpainting in an approximate 24 inch area above the sheep. A pea-size paint loss above the topmost sheep. An approximate 12 inch vertical lighter discoloration above the topmost sheep. Mottled texture throughout the background, possibly light soiling. Some age to the canvas and frame.
