GROUP OF MOSTLY AMERICAN COIN SILVER SPOONS, 43 PIECES:Comprised: (40) tea and table spoons, (2) serving spoons, and (1) demitasse spoon. Makers include: Bradbury Melon Bailey, Hall & Elton, Henderson Inches Sawyer, Hinsdale, Hotchkiss & Schreuder, Ira Strong Towne, possibly J. Polhamus, James Hansel, James P. Steele, James Shields Farr, L. & H. More, Martin Snyder Smith, Samuel & Jacob Myers, Thomas Cresson Grant, Vilas & Noyes, Washington Medonough Root & Bros., and Whiting Manufacturing Co.. Also included: a handful of most likely German spoons with marks "P. Sorge" and "12 Loth", multiple spoons with pseudo-marks, and the rest with unidentified or illegible marks. Most pieces monogrammed. Approximately 24.58 troy ounces.
Condition
Some spoons with dents and/or cracks to bowls. All pieces with varying degrees of surface scratches and marks consistent with age and use (MK).
