Description
Chinese, circa 1770s. A pair of square cut Mandarin vases, each having a banded, tapering neck over a four-sided form, hand-enameled in salmon, purple, pink, and green hues, the neck with shaped roundels depicting birds, the body depicting courtly figural scenes. Signed. Approximate height 10", width 6.5", depth 4.75".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some flaking and losses to enamel decoration. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
