Description
A Pair of Famille Rose Square Vases by Yu Chun, Late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Each of these square shaped vases has two ears in the shape of a beast head with a ring in its mouth. Each vase is painted as a mirror image of the other with scholars on two of the sides. There is also a poem on each vase. They are approximately 16 inches high, each. Condition: One has a chip on the rim, and the other has a chip on the corner. Provenance: From a Vancouver estate.
