Finely potted in a shallow vessel, with wide broad cavetto rising a steep sides, raised on a narrow footed base. The rim is bound in copper and incised decoration of a floral design on the interior before bands of stylized ribbon on the rim, in a pale creme underglazed. Small firing flaw in bottom of bowl as made. Prob. Song Dynasty Period.

Some loss and corrosion over the copper around outer rim, brown molted patina over copper rim. Consider normal due to ages and wears; Over all in EXCELLENT condition.
