The Chinese Nephrite celadon color jade plaque carved in shape of Musical Jade Stone Gong (Qin), is a ministerial emblem and a symbol of the exercise of discrimination and of felicity, one of The Eight Precious Things, also known as the Eight Treasures, or babao in Chinese, are auspicious symbols of good fortune. The nephrite stone is decorated on both sides in open-work carving with stylized clouds simulated the descending Fu bat borne through the clouds. The Jade plaque is connected by a gourd shaped link suspended from two conjugated gilt bronze dragons heads, while its curved body formed a ruyi shape arched frame stand in floral foliate colorful cloisonne enamel work motif. All set upon further prominent gilt bronze cloisonne enamel work pedestal. With gilt bronze symmetrical archaic dragons simulated the seeing eyes taotie mask pattern on the waisted apron. The nephrite jade shows pale-celadon color with clean tone translucent and moist milky appearance.

Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in EXCELLENT condition.
