Included are three dolls of different backgrounds and styles. The largest being an English so-called "slit head" wax with wax over mâché shoulder-head with brown glass eyes with wire in top of head and when moved up and down, eyes open and close. This is covered by a dark, curly human hair wig. She is on a long cloth stuffed body with leather forearms wearing a long white dress and purple wool coat which goes to the knees, as well as silk slippers. The next largest doll is a wax over mâché German doll with glass inset eyes and molded and tinted dark blonde hair with curls that frame the face and extends in vertical style around the back of the head. She also is on a cloth body with wax over mâché hands and legs with molded and painted stockings and boots. The smallest is a German wax over mâché shoulder head with blonde wig attached, glass sleep eyes, on a cloth body with wooden arms and legs that have swivel wrists and ankles, as often found on a so-called "Motschmann" doll. As typical, these dolls have crazing. Small doll with wig has a large crack on the forehead running through the left eye. (Good). Largest: 27'' T.
