Description
19th Century French medical instrument, gynecologist's irrigation device. Invented by a French doctor named Maurice Eguisier in the late 1800's. Embossed within a plaque on the front reading, "IRRIGATEUR SYST. NO. 2MARQUE DE FABRIQUE" with caduceus symbols flanking each side. Instructions in French on the inside half lid that opens to reveal the internal workings. 13" H X 3 1/2" D.
