Description

An Edwardian silver snuff box, the oblong form with scalloped edge, foliate engraved surround to the personally engraved cartouche. Hallmarked Colen Hewer Cheshire, Chester 1909. Length measuring 6 cm, weight 63.2 grams.

Condition

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Presentation engraving a little rubbed. Interior appears to have been gilded but this has worn. Hallmarks clear and legible.
