A small jewellery or trinket box, probably Chinese, the plain and tapering geometric form having stepped corners and raised on three stylised paw feet, the hinged lid with a decorative border surrounding a planished centre. Marked to the base, all distorted but probably 90, a character mark and a maker's mark TL Maximum length measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), gross weight 5.12 ozt (159.3 grams).

The box appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches. Minor dints/nicks, mainly to edges. Some visible seam lines across top of feet. Hinged lid appears in good working order, rises very slightly when in the closed position. Heavier staining or tarnishing to interior. Marks quite distorted.
