PEYTON RANDOLPH AND JOHN BLAIR
Colonial Virginia James River twenty shilling bank note signed by PEYTON RANDOLPH (1721-1775) First President of the Continental Congress and a member of the Virginia Committee of Correspondence, also signed by JOHN BLAIR (1732-1800) Signer of the Constitution and later Associate Justice of Supreme Court. The note, numbered "5/425" is also signed on the verso by Treasurer ROBERT CARTER NICHOLAS. Evenly toned, with some slight show-through of endorsement, extreme corners restored, still very good.
