Description
Pre-Columbian, Mochica, North Coast Peru. ca. 300 CE. Relief decorated tapered ovoid pottery bottle with a stirrup spout. Decorated in relief on both sides depicting two Ai-Apec warriors in battle, one in jaguar regalia, the other with shark fins, both wielding knives. Red-brown ground with some remaining white painted highlights and spout. Size: 6.5" W x 9.5" H (16.5 cm x 24.1 cm)
